Teachers

Our teacher support is currently rooted in primary and early secondary phases, with a strong emphasis on science and high challenge across the curriculum. 

It includes:

• Subject-specific CPD – such as primary physics training delivered with The Ogden Trust, using real-world contexts like space to bring science alive and develop “working scientifically” skills
• Practical classroom resources – ready-to-use activities, planning ideas and materials that make it easier to build stretch into everyday lessons
• Follow-on support – guidance to help teachers extend AVECC pupil programmes back in school, through debates, reading groups, projects and reflection tasks

Over time, our aim is to grow this into a broader offer across subjects and key stages, always anchored in the same goal: higher challenge, higher attainment, for more pupils.
